The design was conceptualised on the theme of Indus Valley civilisation, with incorporation themed fortification, the concept of great baths, Harappa City walls with reducing wall widths and theme site entry points, exposed brick construction, wells and many other aspects. The pitched roof represented Goan local culture and overall outlook of the building was to create a unique structure with magnificent ambience. The built form has been drawn on the Vedic science of Vastu Shastra of 9 X 9 grid pattern, and thus, it forms a built space surrounding a courtyard. The courtyards also act as a space for recreation and leisure having amenities derived from re-interpreting the Vedic cultural pattern.
